Defining an Entrepreneur
When you look at the definition of an entrepreneur you get a definition around a person who basically starts and runs an enterprise taking considerable initiative and risk. More and more people are taking the initiative and building hugely successful businesses. So what makes an entrepreneur and is an entrepreneur born or made? For me, you are born with an entrepreneurial attitude - this will form the basis of all your thinking and will be part of your life in whatever you do.
I do not believe you can make an entrepreneur.
Â
To the mind of an entrepreneur…I’m going to over-simplify things and say that it is based on instinct and little conscious thought – there seems to be an innate ‘force’ that guides you and over time, you learn to work with this ‘force’ and not against it! This may go some way to explaining the high failure rate experienced by many entrepreneurs before they finally enjoy success…just a little theory of mine, but I know from experience that I ignored many of these ‘instinctive feelings’ in my early days, simply because I lacked the confidence to go with them – they were against the mainstream!

So when you get that ‘instinctive’ thought or feeling, work with it, you will probably be on the right track.
Anyway I need to prepare myself for some serious physical punishment – my friend and martial arts instructor Val Riazanov is coming over next week and we are producing our first instructional DVD – Ballistic Striking! Val is the most talented martial artists I know, outside of his own teacher in Russia and hopefully this DVD will prove a hit!!!!!
